Places that we randomly found on Urban Exploration Road Trips

This is the house that Dan and I found when on Tennyson Road that leads to Perth on our way to find Herron Mills Ghost Town. I can't believe it's still standing. Kind of reminds me of the 3 Little Pigs haha I'll Huff and I'll Puff and I'll blow this house down. Those are not orbs btw it was raining, sorry to dissapoint.
This is a little one room shack on Temperance Lake Road off highway 29. It's the road that the Brockville Speedway(BOS) is on.

This is a barn that we found abandoned near Charleston I think on Lower Oak Leaf Road but at least in the area.

This is Leona, Ann and Steve (I'm taking the pic) walking through a field to get to the house. The house sucked it was all boarded up, but the barn had some neat things as well as some abandoned vehicles behind it.

Ann posing with an old Fargo truck.

This is a house we found in Landsdown, not sure what road, it took about 30 min walk to get to it. Not much to see but we came across a lot of bones, possibly sheep. Steve took the skulls home as souvenirs.

Leona with the sheep skull.

Ann and Leona posing with a skull. I have very weird friends as you can see HAHA that is why I love them.

And again....

Ann was like "Oh my God, What the Fuck?" This was found amongst tons of bones in the field. I wonder what killed the animals.

As you can see, it was quite the trek for nothing much. But had a good time and lots of laughs.

This is the remainder of the bridge in Herron Mills located in the Lanark highlands. Not a whole lot to see here or explore I should say as the remains are behind someones house...Grrrrr....oh well, it was a nice drive. I found this place on www.ghosttownpix.com and www.ontarioabandonedplaces.com

Another pic, this is the remains of the Mill in Herron Mills

Ann posing at the Manhard Chapel, Camp Traill Charleston Lake

Ann really hates clowns. Especially our good friend Skabbo the Klown

Ann, Steve and Leona posing at Camp Traill

Here is an abandoned warehouse we came across while touring Gananaque on our way to the Midway Country Motel.

This is the way in, you literrally have to crawl under the door, I scratched my ass up pretty good going in, glad my Tetanus shots are up to date.

Shout Outs!!!

I would like to thank Steve for coming up with the name that I stole from him, haha!!! Splorations is his word as he is constantly bugging Ann, Leona and I to go Sploring with him everyday!!! And sorry for the disapointment about the hospital there Steve, but we will go back again!!!
Also a big huge crazy ass thank you to Leona for making me such an awesome header for my blog HUGS!!!!

Midway Country Motel-The Return

My second visit to the Midway was in early Nov. 2009. I took my mom, my brother and his girlfriend to see it, as my bro had been bugging me to take him exploring forever now. Note that in the first pic the No Vacancy sign resembles that of the movie Vacancy!!!
Anyone care for a dip?

My brother Steven, his girlfriend Kyla and my mom out back of the motel

A side view of the motel.

One of the bathrooms I believe that was downstairs.

The record player now with half a record in it. hmmmmmmmmmm....

A nice little sitting area amongst the cockroaches.

The attic. I swear someone was up there watching and waiting for us to leave. We heard footsteps when we were walking around out back, but being dumbasses we ventured upstairs anyways, Steven could have saved us HAHA

The room where dirty no good sluts have headbanging sex.

A script for a movie that may or may not have been filmed there. Found some pics from others on the UER site stating someone filming there.

Remember the knife from the briefcase? Well here it is now, out on the bed, and the briefcase is gone.

Kyla running away to get out of my shot!!!

A couch downstairs.

Midway Country Motel-Highway 2

This is the Midway Country Motel. It has been abandoned for roughly 15 years. From what we found inside of the registration forms, last people to stay here were in 1994. The rooms downstairs were hard to get into and had a faint mildew smell to them. Each room had a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchenette/living area. Upstairs appeared to be the motel owners apartment and was set up as such, with 3 or 4 bedrooms and a living room still set up.

This is the kitchen upstairs. It was pretty messy with empty KFC containers strewn about and dead flies everywhere.

We found the photograph up stairs here in the living room. Not sure if it was left by the owners or a movie prop left behind.

Friends of mine, Steve and Ann, found this knife in a briefcase in a closset. Ann wanted to touch it but Steve yelled at her not to.

Someone must have had a pretty angry phone call.

I love this picture, coffee and crack!!!! HAHA

Those shoes just sitting there are really creepy. Would would make someone get up that fast and just leave their shoes?

A letter we found, (later turned out to be a movie prop), but what really freaked us out was when I finished reading it out loud the door to the room with the knife slammed shut giving Ann and I a heart attack!!!!
That is painted directly onto the wall

Evil staircase, hard to get down from in brand new boots!!!
